We have some practical tips for you to ensure you don't have any worries during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.
You can bring your food and drink, including alcoholic beverages in a plastic bottle, in reasonable quantities. Dangerous packaging, especially glass, is prohibited, see details here.
The organisers do not tolerate any variations in food preparation. So leave your grills and cookers at home. There will beplenty of refreshment stands in the stands and the fan zone, offering the traditional range of fast food. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. There will also be free drinking water stations around the spectator areas.
There are many stalls inside and their offerings vary, but the prices are very reasonable for the food and drink portions. The only thing is that you may have to stand in line or risk missing a key part of the race.
Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone from tickets to maps, and information about your favourite driver. Especially on Sundays, there is a risk that the mobile network at the circuit may be overloaded, and you may not have a data connection.
Think about the fact that you may not be able to reach your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand, just like in the old days when there were no cell phones.
Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're traveling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.
During the race weekend (if held in June) it should be partly cloudy to cloudy and daytime temperatures should rise to 30°C. Although rainy weather is unlikely, it is worth keeping an eye on the forecast a few days before the race weekend. If you want up-to-date weather information, we recommend using the Windy app.
